SEO isn’t just for fun.
Well I’ve actually noticed that I’m doing a really crap job at SEO which is pretty much annoying me, this month I have a target of 200 unique hits and when I compare this to other new bloggers it’s a really crap job I’m doing at the moment so in January I’m going to start doing as much research into SEO as possible and I’m going to try and hit a target of 1000 Unique visitors by the end of march.
Please any tips on SEO would be brilliant, I’m looking forward to this challenge.

Hi Mike,
Start by editing your template
1. Individual posts - title should be [Post Title] - [Blog Title]… the wordpress default is [Blog Title] - [Post Title].
2. Include meta description for every post, here’s how.
3. Have a good keyword rich description and blog title. If you noticed on my blog, there is no “blogopreneur” word, its all “blog marketing singapore”, similarly, you could migrate “Typer Tappers” into an image and change your blog title to something that is keyword rich

Come in from your mandrivausers.org posts..
But what you should look at having is pages dedicated to a subject..
Don’t try to hit on a single word to start with start with combinations of words.
Dont over submit to the engines they will ban you..
Wait 2-4 weeks for every change you make. Make a few demo pages, and see where you start at and can rise to.
Next thing is leave links to your site and these pages every where which is related. More links inbound more presence..
Spend a day or two finding groups, Yahoo Groups and Google groups where you can leave links as well.. Then every week leave a single comment there with the link.. end of the year you will have 100’s of links inbound and rise naturally..
