Apple Ipod Touch Sexiest Ipod Out (itouch)

If you haven’t seen this or had a go you have to its one of the best ipods I have ever seen. The basic idea of this is to just have a screen displayed; no buttons on top, all you do is move your finger across the screen!

itouch new ipod touch.

You know what amazes me though, I remember the old days of touch screen and frankly they where huge the monitors you could buy for your computer where very big and expensive, now you compare this with the itouch its astonishing how you can turn that into that its so small too hard to get my head around it!

The display looks amazing, if you own a iphone it’s a fairly similar look it display’s everything from the album art to the information from your mp3 file. Has many other options like display photos you have taken to even things like video files!

This is a amazing ipod or itouch should I say and is well worth buying in my opinion so go for it!

Adobe Photoshop CS3 Upgrade

I updated Adobe Photoshop CS 2 to CS 3 finally I have been waiting for this for a long time and it was a brilliant upgrade.

Finally they make it easy to see your design, this is my favorite feature in Photoshop, and basically as you have your panels open you can fix them down so your picture will not be able to go under the panels. This is brilliant in CS2 I was always moving the tools and layer panels.

For the money it costs to upgrade I can’t say it was worth it, in GBP its around £100 USD you can find it at $200 considering I brought the original for whopping $600 that is a lot and it doesn’t really earn me much back, brilliant for a hobby though.

Overall if you have CS 2 I say buy Adobe Photoshop CS3, I’ve always preached adobe software due to the fact they are brilliant!

I believe you can also use Adobe Photoshop on a USB flash drive using something like thinstall, I’ve also seen it on many torrent sites. Which I believe is illegal.

Leaving footprints online good or bad?

I think I’ll start off by asking if you have a myspace account (typical answer yes) this I find bad if you do not want to leave a footprint on the internet this is the place you do not want to leave one.

Let’s see who looks at your myspace pages, could your employers look in fact they do not they have found these places to be very truthful they will not look at your social sites like myspace, bebo and facebook. But a lot of the time you can actually use this to your advantage if you have completely crap qualifications you make these pages look like you know a thing or two you have a much better chance of getting in that your opponent that has posted pictures on their myspace from their drunken nights out, if you was employing someone which would you choose?

But the real question is what other ways could these be exploited and the actual fact is identity theft yeah these things are possible, so the issue is that if you are a member of many social sites leaving parts of your life on each like on one you have DOB the others locations maybe even a phone number. Even having these on different sites these can be linked together at the click of a button, but you might be wondering is how they would find these sites easily if you have an name then its easy. Now there are many ways to get around this like creating a fake name not completely legal but its better than using your real name if you are not the adventurous time then you can use a generator.

Securing your computer Typer Tappers style!

Considering 90% of users use Windows 9% Mac and 1% Linux I shall focus on Windows, now we all know how buggy Windows XP is just look at the security updates you get everyday, its silly.

Normally I tell people to download Linux like Ubuntu, Kubuntu or PCLinuxOS, but we all know it’s not easy to learn another operating system.

So I shall point out some key factors in securing your windows box stopping the occasional viruses.

So lets start with basic stuff your security applications, running Microsoft’s firewall disable it and download a better one, there are a lot out their for example sygate (before taken over by Symantec), not really recommended if you are a novice user.

Instead you want to be looking at a more user friendly firewall one I like is Comodo, gives you a lot of detail on what its doing and will alert you when applications try to access the internet.

Next Anti-virus programs, one of my most preached application is Avast on access scanner this will scan all incoming and outgoing traffic from emails to P2P files and even web pages, so if a malicious active x script runs in your browser Avast will stop it in its tracks so you don’t become infected.

New Theme: Classical

classicalss.jpgDescription: The idea of this theme was for a elegant classical style, I’ve been trying to keep things to a minimal such as widgets you will notice if you have the correct plugins (named below) that they are placed at the bottom of the page (footer) to keep them out of the way but allowing the spiders to crawl as many pages as possible.
The choice of using png images for the layout was to make it easier for your use, using png allows the fade effect to be slightly see through so that when placing a background it will not mess up the effect, so it allows you to place what ever background you want.
It was designed for screen resolutions over 800 by 600 as the width of the theme is 900, allowing you to display more content allowing your visitors to get the best experience from visiting your website.

Problems: PNG format, is not compatible with IE6 (internet explorer 6) but it will work with IE7 and above.
Three posts above displayed for some reason messes the footer up, I have not yet found out why this is happening please if you know leave feedback.
It does not look bad but it does look out of place slightly.
