Well I haven’t made a post in a while the mouse has had my fingers didn’t have a clue what to write about so I though about ordering a game ‘World Of Warcraft’ so here is my review on the installation process their will be more coming soon.
Well upon receiving my copy of it I thought it was a bit heavy which was worrying because you don’t normally get any games that are light weight but upon opening it up my eyes where drawn to the massive book for this game, the book is around 1cm thick and around A5 size, it feels like a very long read (not actually going to).
And the shocker after removing all the paper inside it was the CD’s their was 5 discs I was disappointed that it wasn’t a DVD or anything it would of saved a lot of time and could of had a little nap without swapping the CD’s over.
Putting the CD’s in.
Well recently I keep thinking how I spend way way too much time on the computer and what the cause of a 18″ CRT monitor is doing too my brain you know their was so much fuss back in the 90’s it was mad, ‘you will get cancer from spending too much time in front of the PC’ but really is this true?
Well according to a post I found at PC Format a car will give you more radiation than a monitor, now that’s worried me about driving now but it really isn’t much radiation at all.
Well I thought it would be good to alert all the users about this issue, but I think now everyone is using LCD monitors etc…
I found this amazing product its called USB Cell Batteries you can find it here at firebox.com the idea of it is you can plug it into a USB port by taking the male part of the battery top off which reveals a USB male connector which you can plug into any standard USB port which will then charge the battery.
Its a amazing little gadget all ‘Geeks’ must have this your out and about come across a small computer you can just plug it in or at college/school go in the IT room and plug it in, this product can save you so much money compared to actually buying standard AA batteries.
They also have a few others in the making such as Triple A (AAA) and also the 9V batteries.
You can buy it at firebox here USB Cell Batteries its a brilliant price and worth it!
Oh why Opera why can’t I use you so?
I’m starting to get a little annoyed at how I really like Opera and Firefox, recent reasons i haven’t been able to switch to Opera is the fact Firefox has its build in spell checker which I love because my spelling is a mess a lot of the time.
so that’s the first problem I have second is del.icio.us I love my plugins for it as I loose a lot of my bookmarks well to put it another way Firefox looses my bookmarks all the time, so in Opera I don’t have that plugin.
Opera the refreshing feature is fabulous my favourite feature if your posting on forums it is a life saver you can just enable it to refresh every 1 minute or something and then just flick your screen over to see if theirs anything new.
The sidebar with notes, mail etc… its a amazing feature saves so much time, your on a site want to jot some notes down while reading no need to open up notepad you have a pad next to your browser!
Normally when I go to write a post for my blog I will open up Open Office or MS Office, but this got me thinking I have a full text editor on my blog and I also have the Google toolbar so why should i need to even use and word processor.
So this post is just a trial to see how well Google and Wordpress work together alternative of using OO, but already Google spell checker is messing up my work its adding all kind of crap to my posts, don’t know what was happening their but i think i have sorted out that issue with clicking loads of buttons randomly.
So now I’m going to check this one last time with Google spell checker and copy it into MS Word.
Well one good thing is that it detected that i wasn’t using any capital ‘i’.
But from this expirience of using Wordpress + Google toolbar Vs a word processor is that when in wordpress it will allow me to add pictures which I can’t really do in a word processor for obvious reasons, and i can’t copy over bullet points without having problems when viewing in Internet Explorer.
