Normally when I go to write a post for my blog I will open up Open Office or MS Office, but this got me thinking I have a full text editor on my blog and I also have the Google toolbar so why should i need to even use and word processor.
So this post is just a trial to see how well Google and Wordpress work together alternative of using OO, but already Google spell checker is messing up my work its adding all kind of crap to my posts, don’t know what was happening their but i think i have sorted out that issue with clicking loads of buttons randomly.
So now I’m going to check this one last time with Google spell checker and copy it into MS Word.
Well one good thing is that it detected that i wasn’t using any capital ‘i’.
But from this expirience of using Wordpress + Google toolbar Vs a word processor is that when in wordpress it will allow me to add pictures which I can’t really do in a word processor for obvious reasons, and i can’t copy over bullet points without having problems when viewing in Internet Explorer.
So from now on i will not be using a word processor it will be the google toolbar all the way.

Hi Mike, try firefox 2 for its spell checker… and I would not encourage you to use the WYSIWYG editor in wordpress… or be VERY careful when you use it. Its pretty unstable (in my experience) and I’ve lost several hours of typing posts because of it.
Oh… when FF2 launched it was crashing often, and I found it was because of the google toolbar… I don’t how much the google toolbar has progressed since then, but well, just for your info.

I used to have the FF2 spell checker just noticed it isn’t working then you said something about it so i just installed it so my firefox2 spell checker is working :D.
I haven’t had any problems with their WYSIWYG editor yet but i haven’t used it very much but it would be a good experience when i hit some problems to avoid it.
Thanks for telling me about FF2 spell checker i remember using it before now can’t believe i ever did without it!
